Dual-Approach Treatment of Tinea Capitis in a Child: Microneedling Combined with Photodynamic Therapy Yields Excellent Results
A 6-year-old girl with tinea capitis was successfully treated using a combination of microneedling and photodynamic therapy (PDT). The patient avoided systemic antifungal medication and showed no recurrence after a 6-month follow-up, demonstrating high clinical value and safety of this dual approach.
